Twinners Birthday Party

These little buddies went to a birthday party for a set of twins turning two.  Their amazing mother is an event planner and used these on the table scape. When I was packaging these up, I decided I need to do way more multi colored orders. So Fun!

Macaron Centerpiece

I've really been loving figs lately and decided to throw one in a batch of blueberry macarons.  The result was a blueberry taste with that slight crisp that makes a fig delicious.
Thus was born the Blueberry Fig Macaron.
Ashley Beyer from Tinge floral was nice enough to contribute her amazing flowers to my set up.
Flowers and Macarons compliment each other perfeclty, don't you think?

The Batch Made in Heaven

The challenging part about macarons is that even if you've made them for years, you still don't exactly know how they are going to turn out. You can do everything the same but still get a flop batch. It is frustrating at times but I think that's the reason I like making them. I am continually learning and trying to fine tune my recipe.  I made these raspberry italian buttercream filled macarons as part of a larger order but I particularly loved the way this batch turned out. The feet are perfectly raised and their domes are round and symmetrical. I love looking at these.

Raspberry Delights

A. I love peach colored things. B. I love Raspberry flavored things. So these were a real home run for me. I did a cream cheese frosting and they almost tasted like a cheesecake.  So delish.
