Greaty Gatsby Styling

How pretty is this set up!? My lucky macarons got to be a part of a really lovely stylized photo shoot that used the Great Gatsby as inspiration. Photography by Kimbry Studios and styling by Shayna Sitton.

J. Brooks Jewelry Holiday Party

Pistachio, Salted Caramel, Mango, Raspberry, Chocolate and Gingerbread.  Six flavors to rule them all. These were made for a local jewelry gallery's holiday party ( J. Brooks Jewelers). I love the way each box is different, but together they coordinate perfectly.

Gingerbread praises

I have been loving these gingerbread macarons.  I've made them for several events and they have been a hit so far.  The filling is an itialian buttercream with molasses, cloves, cinnamon and ginger. Simple enough. I sprinkle cinnamon on them before they bake.  I love breaking up the solid colors with a little texture.

Holiday Macarons Everywhere

I'm a little scared for December.  It's going to be a busy month.  Much busier then I anticipated in fact.  So since there's about 3 hours left in November, I'm enjoying it while I can.  These little cheery friends are going to a Holiday party. This is the first time I've made mango filling and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I love the yellow with the striped string.

Engagement Party

Gold leaf is always challenging to work with. It's so light and delicate that I literally have to hold my breath when applying it to the macaron.  One wrong gust of air and the gold is gone.   These Macarons went to beautiful engagement party down town and were added to a really amazing table.  I will post more photos when I get them.

Remembering Summer...

I was excited to get these photos back from a friends wedding in the summer.

Thanksgiving Macarons

I enjoy seeing macarons used for tablescapes. There are so many possibilities, especially during this time of year. I'm going to be using these as place markers and favors for the guests at my annual "Friendsgiving" celebration.

Candy Corn Macarons

I really love Halloween.  One of the best traditions I take part in is an annual witch party that my friends and I throw.  This year I was in charge of the favors .  These have a caramel filling and looked lovely  in their little chevron bags.

Bridal Shower Favors: Natural Greens + Gold

This order was sent out to a beautiful bridal shower that was decorated with natural greens and gold highlights.  I was really excited about the variety of flavors in this order.  Think about this cast of characters for a minute:

Salted Butter Caramel
Raspberry
Vanilla Bean
Fresh Lime
Chocolate Ganache

I had so much fun putting this lovely order together and trying my hand at a few new flavors.  My absolute new favorite is the Salted Butter Caramel. It's perfect for the fall and tastes exactly like you are eating homemade caramels. Delish!
